INSTITUT TEKNOLOGY BANDUNG - Bandung
The Teknologi Bandung Institute (ITB) was founded on 2 March 1959 by the Indonesian government as an institution of higher education in science, technology and fine arts, with a mission of education, research and community service. The ITB is the first and largest scientific and technical university in Indonesia, founded during the colonial era in 1920. Today, it consists of 12 faculties and schools offering courses and research in science, technology and fine arts.
INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI SEPULUH NOPEMBER - Surabaya
The Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a leading university in the field of science and technology in Indonesia. In 2017, ITS ranked 5th among the top universities in Indonesia according to the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and is among the top 10 universities in Indonesia according to the QS World University Ranking. In addition to education and management aspects, ITS has a strong commitment to environmental management, one of which is the Smart Eco-Campus program.
UNIVERSITAS GADJAH MADA - Yogjakarta
Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), founded in 1949, is the oldest and largest public university in Indonesia, with 18 faculties and 251 undergraduate and graduate programmes. UGM has approximately 56,000 students and 3,600 academic staff. As a world-class university, GMU currently has about 800 foreign students from 54 different countries. In addition, MUM currently cooperates, within the framework of a Memorandum of Understanding, with more than 340 universities and international institutions. The international academic cooperation of the GMU includes an exchange programme, a double degree programme and joint research.
UNIVERSITAS INDONESIA - Jakarta
Universitas Indonesia is a multi-purpose state university, established in 1849, located in Jakarta and Depok. In Indonesia, IU is a pioneer in cutting-edge research and offers quality education to Indonesian and international students. The IU maintains its distinct position among research universities through its commitment to research activities through various scientific programmes.
UNIVERSITAS MARITIM RAJA ALI HAJI - Tanjungpinang
The Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji (UMRAH) was founded in 2007 and was promoted to the rank of public university in 2011. UMRAH is located in Tanjungpinang, the capital of KEPRI province. UMRAH is developing networks in the form of collaborations for the development and strengthening of higher education and non-university activities, in order to be able to align itself with other national and foreign universities. UMRAH is adjacent to Malaysia and Singapore where both countries have world-class universities with extensive networks, enabling UMRAH to take advantage of its existence.
UNIVERSITAS TANJUNGPURA - Pontianak
UNTAN is the leading state university in Pontianak, with about 5,000 students enrolled each year. UNTAN offers 6 degree programs, 64 undergraduate programs, 21 master's programs, 2 doctoral programs, and 3 professional programs and has 9 faculties: Law, Economics, Agriculture, Engineering, Social and Political Science, Teacher Training and Education, Forestry, Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and Medicine. Graduates of Untan are well integrated into government institutions, commercial enterprises and international organizations.
UNIVERSITAS UDAYANA - Denpasar
Udayana University (UNUD) has 13 faculties, 25 master's programmes and 10 doctoral programmes and is now listed as one of Indonesia's 50 "promising universities" according to the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Indonesia, out of nearly 2,500 higher education institutions in the country. UNUD aims to be a leading university whose graduates reflect high potential and become the best of their generation. We also hope to create graduates who have progressed towards self-reliance and who will remain fully engaged in our local knowledge and practices.
